Rhode Island Saltwater Sportfishing Reports

The school tuna fishing was great in 2011 from mid June right through October with the October fishing being the best in years.  The giants showed up in mid October and fished well right into November. Below is a 900# bluefin tuna caught on the Maverick by Dave Dodsworth.

Great striped bass fly fishing at Nantucket in June 2011 with the guides from Jan's in Provost, Utah. Multiple hookups with four anglers hooked up on stripers at one time.
A striper charter at Monomoy with the Fruhbeis family,  great repeat customers. 10 year old Alex, below,  caught the most and
largest striper.
